In 2008, on Easter Sunday, a unique baby girl was born into an African-American family in Jackson, Mississippi. Her parents named her Ava, but from the moment she was born, they sensed something unusual about their daughter.
Ava’s skin and hair were completely white, and her eyes had a striking greenish-blue hue. Medical specialists diagnosed her with albinism, a genetic condition that gives albinos their distinctive appearance.
Doctors also warned Ava’s parents that she had issues with her vision that could potentially lead to blindness. As a result, Ava initially attended a school tailored for visually impaired students. However, by the time she was five, she had remarkably overcome her eye condition.
Today, Ava is thriving in a regular school and has developed a love for sports, particularly gymnastics and running. Her unique features have also opened doors for her in the modeling world. By the age of eight, Ava had already caught the eye of numerous photographers and designers.
