Prince William and Princess Kate are reportedly set to receive enhanced security at Kensington Palace, with plans for new vehicle barriers and long-term protection measures around the residence. The upgrades come as part of efforts to improve outdated security at the palace, which remains the couple’s London base despite their move to Windsor in 2022.
William and Kate now live at Forest Lodge in Windsor with their three children, while retaining Apartment 1A at Kensington Palace for official visits to the capital. The royal family continues to receive taxpayer-funded security, with Prince William, Kate, and their children among those protected around the clock.
